Online forms in Skyward could include anything from a field trip permission slip to registration for a new school year.
Let's walk through how to complete one in Family Access.
If online forms are available to fill out, we'll find them on our main dashboard. The name of the tile displays the name of the online form.
The status of the form appears on the top of the tile as a banner and indicates whether the online form is Available, In Progress, Pending Approval, or Denied.
To open an online form, we'll click on its tile.
Based on how the form is created by our district, we'll see screens that help us navigate through the form.
On the left side, we'll see the steps we need to complete, and we can jump ahead or jump backward using the dropdown at the top.
We can start an online form and return to it later, and our progress will be saved.
So, let's take a look at this one.
We'll click Start and complete the fields for each step.
Once we finish entering information, we'll click Complete and Review, verify our information is correct, and submit the form.
Back on our dashboard, we can see that our form is now Pending Approval.
An administrator at our district will review all forms that are pending approval.
