How Parents Complete Food Service Applications
Make applying for school meal benefits easier! Learn how to complete food service applications in Skyward Family Access.

Let's walk through how to create an online food service application in Skyward.
On our Family Access dashboard, we'll click the Food Service Applications tile for the student we want to submit an application for.
Then we'll click Start New Application near the top right of the screen.
Depending on our district's configuration, we may have additional instructions to view.

In this case, we have instructions from the state to look over.
Our district has also included contact details in case we have any questions about the application as we go.
Now, we'll click Next and navigate through the prompts.
If we need to close out of the application and finish later, we can click Save and Complete Later without losing the work we've done.
We'll click Review to verify everything is accurate.

Then we'll submit the application when we're ready.
If any errors are found in our application, we'll get a chance to review and correct them.
Otherwise, we'll see the Application Submitted window, which indicates our application has been submitted for review.
