How Parents Check Fee and Food Service Balances and Make Payments

Let's look at how we can make online payments for fees and food service in Skyward.
First, we'll click the Fees and Fee Payments tile on our Family Access dashboard for a specific student.
The Fees screen has both a Fees tab and a Payments tab. Each tab shows a list of payments already made, and it gives us the option to print them for our records.
To make a payment, we'll click Submit Online Payments near the top right of our screen. This will take us to our district's third-party vendor website, where we can make our payment.
We can also make payments on optional fees in Family Access.
Under the Fees tab, we see a few options listed. If there's one we want to pay for, like a yearbook, we can click Add to Fees.
Now, we see our yearbook fee displayed under the Assigned Customer Fees heading.
To view food service balances, we can select the Food Service tile from the dashboard under a specific student's name.
The details displayed on this screen will depend on your district's configuration.
In this example, we can filter between seeing the current year or all years, and we can make a payment.
These fields indicate different balances to help us track our spending totals.
In the last section, we can use these tabs to view payment, purchase, and transaction histories.
