How to Download and Use the Skyward Mobile App

Let's look at how to download the Skyward mobile app.

Let's look at how to download the Skyward mobile app.
First, we'll head to the App Store or Google Play Store and search for the word Skyward.
Then, we'll tap the Get or Install button next to the Skyward app. We'll open the app by tapping Open or tapping the icon that is now on our home screen.
Since we're opening the app for the first time, we'll be prompted to create a passcode.
After setting this passcode, we'll see three options for locating our district. We can use our current location, search using a ZIP code, or type in the name of our district.
The next screen will ask us to select a product. In this example, we'll select Student Management. This is the product for parents or students using Family Access, or district employees looking to use our student information system features.
On the following screen, we'll enter our Skyward credentials. We can also sign in with Google Single Sign-On by entering the account description and selecting Sign in with Google SSO.
Once we've added our account, we'll see our account tile. This is where we can choose to Continue in App or Open in Browser. We can also edit our account.
Here, we can change our account description, view district information, toggle Allow Notifications, or delete our account.
Down in the bottom-right corner, we'll find Settings. Here we can change our passcode, update the auto-lock timing, toggle Require Immediately, which determines when we'll be prompted to input our passcode, and toggle the use of Face ID or fingerprint readers.
We can view the app data using About, which allows us to see the app version if needed.
Now, let's talk about a few general navigation tips.
This is our homepage. We can tap any of the tiles to take a shortcut directly to that page.
The arrow in the lower left will take us back to our previous page.
The three lines will open our main menu.
We'll tap the home icon to head back to our homepage.
Finally, the mail icon in the lower right will open our messages and notifications.
