What do phonebooks, maps, and free and reduced lunch applications have in common?

Their paper days are obsolete.

Let's take a look at how you can move free and reduced lunch applications online, to be completed as a part of New Student Online Enrollment.

From the Student Management main dashboard, go to Students, then Online Enrollment.

Click the Setup button on the bar. Then select Configuration from the dropdown options.

On the Configuration screen, click on Enrollment Portal Configuration.

Under General Application Options, check the box to Allow guardian to enter Custom Form data.

Then click the Custom Forms button.

In the popup box, click the box to select Food Service Application. Then click Save.

To edit the form itself, head back to the main dashboard.

Click on Families, then click Setup to the right of Family Access.

Select Configuration. Click on Entity Configuration, then click the Edit button next to Food Service.

At the bottom of the Guardian Options box, open Additional Options.

Click the plus icon next to Application Options to edit the form.

When you're finished, click Save.

Once the application is included in NSOE, parents and students will be able to fill it out online when they apply for school, just like they would a media release or acceptable use form.

It's as easy as that!

Check out the other 60-Second Power-Ups and become even more Skyward-savvy!
