Is there someone in your district who excels at using Skyward? A forward-thinker who is always ready to answer questions for colleagues? Or maybe it’s not just one person—is your entire district paving the way for Skyward users?

Each year, we shine a spotlight on individuals and districts who are Skyward-user superstars. We invite you to submit a nomination for our 2025 class of Leaders in Excellence.

Who is eligible?

For the individual award: Current employees of districts that used Skyward in the 2023-24 school year are invited to nominate another member of their district.

For the district award: Any district that used Skyward in the 2023-24 school year is eligible to enter.

What do winners receive?

Both individual and district winners snag a FREE registration to iCon 2025, Skyward’s international conference. (Note that lodging and airfare are not included.) The event will be held February 26 to 28, 2025 in St. Pete Beach, Florida. Winners will be presented with their awards in a ceremony at the conference. Leader in Excellence winners will also be featured in our Skyward Insider newsletter and on our social media pages.

What is the deadline to submit applications?

Nominations are due August 23, 2024. Winners will be announced in early 2025.

Where do I submit a nomination?

Visit skyward.com/leaders to submit a nomination and view previous years’ winners. Please keep in mind: the more thorough you can be in your nomination, the better! We encourage you to give specific examples when applicable and paint as clear a picture as possible for our LIE panel.

We believe edtech should always focus on results over features. That’s why we want to thank and celebrate you—the people using Skyward to achieve more at your district!
