Welcome to another 60-Second Power-Up.
Between class, sports, drama club, and math league, you have a lot going on. So today we're going to dive into a helpful organizational tool: the Calendar feature.
The Calendar will help you keep track of all school-related activities. When you log into Family Access, you can browse a snapshot of upcoming events in your calendar on the right-hand side of your screen.
When you navigate to the Calendar, you can see upcoming and missing assignments, grades, extracurricular activities, field trips, and more.
Important academic dates, such as when the term ends, are always noted.
You can add notes and reminders by clicking Calendar Options, then Add Note.
Use the dropdown menu to assign the note to a specific class.
To personalize your calendar, head back to Calendar Options, then Calendar Display.
Here you can open a menu of all possible event types and set up a color-coding system that makes sense to you.
If you want to set an email reminder about an event, select the event, then click on Export to Personal Calendar.
It's as easy as that!
