2027 Leader in Excellence Award

Recognizing the people and teams who keep districts moving forward.

Every day, Skyward users across K–12 districts do important work that doesn’t always come with a spotlight. They solve problems, support teams, and make sure students, staff, and families are set up for success.

The Leader in Excellence Award exists to recognize that work.

These awards celebrate individuals and districts who go above and beyond with Skyward, not for recognition, but because they care about working together and doing things better.
Think of:
  • The teammate whose expertise everyone relies on.
  • The team that tackled a major transition together.
  • The district that keeps asking, “How can we do this better?”
If you know someone who used Skyward as a tool to make these things happen, we want to hear about it.
Nominate an individual or district for the 2027 Leader in Excellence Award and help us recognize the work that truly matters.
Why the Leader in Excellence Award Matters
For past recipients, this award represents validation. It affirms that:
  • Their hard work is seen and appreciated.
  • Their team’s collaboration and persistence made an impact.
  • Their approach to continuous improvement is working.
  • Their leadership (formal or informal) matters.
Whether individual or district, the Leader in Excellence award highlights people who lead with humility, confidence, and a commitment to growing alongside Skyward.
