Hi, I'm Avery.
Traditionally, report cards have been pretty standard charts of letters, numbers, and symbols. But did you know you can customize your report cards' layout and design?
Wouldn't your school colors or mascot be a fun way to spice up these reports and showcase your brand?
To set up a report card template, open the Office tab on the main navigation menu. Then, under Grading, select Report Cards, Configuration, and Custom Report Card Layouts.
Click Add to create a template. Note that rather than creating your own template, you can also choose to import a layout from another district or from the Skyward templates.
Once your template is added, give your report card a name and enter the school year.
In the New Page Object Area, choose the object you want to add to your report card, such as an e-signature or GPA, and click on Add to Body.
Once that object appears on the page, double-click on it to open additional options. Choose how you want the object to be displayed.
When you preview the template, you'll have additional configuration options.
Once you've dropped all objects onto your report card, we'd recommend printing off a test report to see how it looks.
From the main navigation menu, click on the Office tab, then under Grading choose Report Cards. Click on Setup, then Configuration, and Custom Report Cards.
Expand the report card template and select a student to test the report on.
Once the student is entered, you'll see a Print for Student option to the right of his or her name.
Think outside the box and have some fun designing your report cards.
