Hi, my name is Scott Price, Champion of all things Skyward. And I'm here to make your life easier. 

We purchase things online all the time. It's quick, easy, and barely puts a dent in our day. 

But the purchasing processes we follow at work are hardly as simple. But, with Skyward's eCommerce option, they can be. 

Purchasing 

You'll start by heading over to the purchasing area of the School Business Suite. 

From here, click on Add from Online Catalog to bring up a list of Skyward's eCommerce partners. 

Note that you'll have full control over who shows up in this list. 

Look over your options and pick the one you want to shop with. 

Enter a description of what you intend to purchase, then launch the vendor's secure, online portal. 

For this example, I'm going to pick up a pack of binders. 

I'll add them to my cart, check out, just as if I was shopping online for something at home. 

Notice how all the information automatically transfers into the requisition, and all you have to do is choose the account you want payment to come out of. 

Just like that, your supplies have been ordered. 

The best part is, if you're using Skyward's School Business Suite, you already have access to eCommerce. 

Don't just imagine a world where you can see real-time stock balances or cut out the most difficult and time-consuming parts of your requisition process. You already have the tools you need to go out and make it happen.
