State and Federal Reporting

I think accountability is a great concept, but it should never take away from the time you spend on the instructional needs of your students. 

As superintendent, you know the importance of submitting accurate district data to state and federal agencies, and you're probably already allocating resources to making sure it gets done right. 

But, do you know where to find the information that you're sending out? 

Look for the Federal/State Reporting tab on your main dashboard. 

Expand this to dive into a number of different reports and analytics. 

One level down, you can maintain data and extract it in the file format your state requires. 

Reports will show you which extractions have been validated and will be accepted, with notifications of any errors. 

If you ever want to see what's going out, head into the maintenance area. From here, you can export the details to Excel, print them out for quick review, or take advantage of the quick search key to look up specific information. 

Transparency is a key expectation of your role, but it's hard to be up-front about accountability in your district if you don't have easy access to the data.
