Welcome to another 60-Second Power-Up.
Today we're going to get you started using a helpful organizational tool: the Calendar feature.
The Calendar helps you keep track of all school-related activities. When you log in to Family Access, you can browse a snapshot of upcoming events in your calendar on the right-hand side of your screen.
When you navigate to the Calendar, you can see upcoming and missing assignments, grades, extracurricular activities, scheduled parent-teacher conferences, field trips, and more.
Important academic dates, like when the term ends, are always noted.
At the top of your screen, you can choose which child's calendar you view, or see a combined calendar for all of your children.
If English is not your first language, use the Translate feature in the upper right.
To personalize your calendar, click on Calendar Options, then Calendar Display.
This will open a menu of all possible event types and allow you to set up a color-coding system.
If you want to set an email reminder about an event, simply select the event, then click on Export to Personal Calendar.
You can also add notes for future reference.
It's as easy as that!
