Each year at iCon, attendees soak up more than just the Florida sun. They’re immersed in new processes, tools for their offices and classrooms, and other ways they can improve their districts back home. But not all of that information comes from the staff at Skyward. Much of it comes from fellow Skyward users like you!
We’re looking for people interested in presenting at this year’s iCon. Here’s what you need to know:

Perks
There are many benefits of presenting at iCon. Let’s start with this one: free registration! As a presenter, you’ll receive complimentary conference registration. (Note that airfare, lodging, and meals outside of the conference are not included.) You’ll also have the opportunity to gain recognition and credibility as an expert, solicit feedback, and highlight your own district’s successes to other leaders from around the world. This is a great opportunity to put your district at the forefront of edtech innovation.Expectations
Each presenter (or presentation team—you can choose to lead with one other person) will take the floor for a 60-minute session. Presenters have the first 45 minutes to teach and the last 15 minutes to answer questions. Presenters can cover Qmlativ or SMS 2.0. There’s no list of topics to choose from; that’s for you to determine! You know what challenges other districts are facing and what value you can add to the conversation, so topic choice is in your creative hands. In the past, presenters have covered topics such as:- Recruit, Hire, and Welcome Employees in Record Time
- Finding Success in Your Digital Transformation
- Positive Attendance
- RtI Custom Forms and Tiered Training Supports
- Protecting Student Data
- PDC Customization
- Tips, Tricks, and Customizations
