Introducing the Qmlativ Mobile App

Hear ye, hear ye! We have an important invitation for Qmlativ users! 
 
Who: Parents, students, teachers, and district employees
What: The Qmlativ mobile app 
Where: All major app stores
When: Available now 
Why: So you can take Skyward on the go and complete routine tasks on the fly 
 
If this invitation applies to you, read on for additional information about our three mobile portals. (If you’re an administrator, make sure you stick around until the end!)
 
 

Downloading the Mobile App

Before you can enjoy any of the features of the Skyward mobile app, you’ll need to download the app to your device. If you don’t have it already, take a moment to watch this video, which walks you through the process. 
 

 
Now that you’ve got the app in hand, let’s go over what you can do with each mobile platform.

 
 

Family Access

Who it’s for: Parents and students  
 
What’s available: With the Family Access mobile app, parents can… 
  • View their children's sports and activities 
  • Access their kids' academic history 
  • Check their students' grades 
  • Monitor their current and upcoming assignments 
  • View their children’s attendance records
  • Monitor their behavior and view any discipline records 
  • Open a calendar displaying upcoming due dates and events
  • Keep their children on track by viewing their graduation requirements, career plans, and details about important tests like the ACT and SAT 
  • Manage fees and make payments
  • View messages from teachers and other members of their child’s education team
  • Easily switch student profiles to view information for each of their children, without having to log in again 

 
 

Teacher Access

Who it’s for: Teachers 
 
What’s available: With the Teacher Access mobile app, teachers can… 
  • View a list of their students 
  • Take attendance 
  • Manage their gradebooks
  • Create and send messages in the Message Center 
  • Fill out discipline referrals 
  • Access important information about individual students, such as allergy warnings, special ed plans, etc. 
 
 
 

Employee Access

Who it’s for: District employees 
 
What’s available: With the Employee Access mobile app, district employees can…
  • View their employee profile and personal information (name, address, contact information, position details, etc.) 
  • Access their payroll check history and estimate upcoming checks
  • Clock in and out and view a history of time transactions by day
  • View unsubmitted timesheets and submit completed timesheets 
  • Check remaining time-off balances and request time off
  • Access important tax forms 
  • Check their calendar for upcoming events  
 
 
 

 
If you don’t already have the Qmlativ app, now is the time to head to the App Store or Google Play to get Skyward and go mobile!
