STEVENS POINT, Wis. (Mar. 15, 2017) – Skyward, a leading provider of administrative solutions, has received a 2017 Bubbler Award for creating a premier workforce destination for Millennials in Wisconsin. The award will be presented at Skyward’s Stevens Point world headquarters in April by officials from NEWaukee and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC).

Every year, NEWaukee hosts the Bubbler Awards: Best Workplaces for Young Professionals in Wisconsin, as a kickoff to YPWeek. Skyward employees nominated the company for the award, and a group of Millennial leaders across the state of Wisconsin evaluated the submissions and selected the finalists.

Hundreds of nominations were submitted, and Skyward is one of only two companies based in central Wisconsin to receive the award this year. A full list of the Top 10 Best Places to Work for young professionals in Wisconsin can be found at http://www.ypweek.com/bubbler-awards/2017.

“We’re humbled to be recognized as a company that empowers its employees; but it’s really our employees that are the driving force behind our culture and success,” said Skyward CEO Cliff King. “Their commitment to improving the community, workplace, and customer experience are unparalleled.”

Since moving into its new corporate headquarters in 2016, Skyward has been adding to its workforce, which now totals over 550 employees. The evaluation for the award centered on what Millennials are looking for in today’s workplace including: competitive salary and benefits, opportunity for advancement, and employee and community engagement.

“We are proud to highlight these companies that make it a priority to create an environment that allows for not only young professionals, but all of their employees, to be able to connect to both their workplace and community in unique and valuable ways,” says Angela Damiani, CEO of NEWaukee. “Wisconsin-based companies realize how important it is to keep our young talent here and encourage them to grow and become the next generation of leaders across all industries.”

Skyward will be represented at multiple public events later in 2017 to showcase what makes the company a top 10 workplace in Wisconsin. "Skyward is proud to call Wisconsin home and looks forward to the continued role it will play in growing the state's talent pool," said Cliff King.
