STEVENS POINT, Wis. (Oct. 12, 2017) – Skyward, a leading K-12 administrative software provider, has partnered with the tenth largest school district in the nation and fourth largest in the state of Florida. Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) selected Skyward’s Student Management Suite (SMS 2.0) as their new SIS partner to streamline data accessibility and improve student achievement.

Serving more than 200,000 students and employing more than 23,000 faculty and staff, OCPS will begin implementing Skyward’s Student Management Suite in all high schools in January 2018 to schedule their students. It’s anticipated that all 215 schools will be completely migrated to Skyward for all their student data needs in August 2018.

OCPS will join 45 districts in Florida that use Skyward to make informed decisions that drive key initiatives. “We look forward to joining the large number of districts in Florida who have already partnered with Skyward to provide staff, students, and families with a solution that evolves with emerging K-12 trends,” said Dr. Jesus Jara, deputy superintendent at OCPS.

“We are excited to welcome OCPS to the Skyward family,” said Kevin McFerrin, chief business development officer at Skyward. “We have worked with many large districts in the past and we know that our partnership with OCPS will position them for long-term success.”
