S2Q: GPA/Curriculum

This session will cover critical data cleanup to prepare for the migration from SMS to Qmlativ. Use cases of how GPA Sets and Methods will be discussed and how the Data Migration Tool (DMT) identifies parameters in SMS that are used to create the GPA structure in Qmlativ. Data will be cleaned up and standardized to ensure that the GPA Setup in Qmlativ is accurate and succinct. Curriculum cleanup involves setting up SMS Curriculum records to best accommodate Qmlativ functions. Because Qmlativ does not support entity-level Curriculum records, its critical that the data is reviewed and a proper record assigned to avoid data being migrated in an undesirable way.

S2Q: Miscellaneous Cleanup

This session will discuss broad topics of data cleanup that are less critical to the migration process itself, but more in alignment with data integrity. The items discussed in this session are voluntary items to cleanup, as they will not cause errors in the migration. The biggest case for this data cleanup is that some of the tools in SMS, that are generally used to clean up this data, are not available in Qmlativ yet. Users will be able to weigh the pros and cons of cleanup in SMS vs cleanup in Qmlativ, based on the type of data, number of records to adjust, and relative difficulty of the task.
