With Skyward, our district saves time and money by being user friendly. I am able to data mine for information that I can then download into Excel for use with other applications. I am able to make field trip check off/money collection forms for my teachers. The form really assists them when preparing for field trips and saves them valuable class time. I also really like the student locator function within Skyward. It is very handy when you need to find a student quickly.

With Skyward software I really like data mining and all the information I can pull from it. The activity groups allow me to group athletes and combine them with students so teachers can view grades to ensure eligibility.

Some of my favorite Skyward applications as a principal include Family Access and EA + Gradebook. I find the Data Mining application to be especially useful in my role as Title I Director. I am able to find the information I need at any point in the year. I also supervise the nursing staff, so I find the Nurse’s Log to be quite useful, too. I appreciate all of the support the Skyward staff has provided to our district. Keep up the good work!

I am really pleased with the data mining/report writing capability of the Skyward modules. It allows me to get only the information I want in the format I want, and it prints to the screen with the ability to save it if desired, as opposed to automatically printing it and wasting paper.
