Sleek design. Easy navigation. Fewer taps and fewer swipes.
It’s the result of months of collaboration and feedback, and it’s about to make its big debut… Say hello to the latest release of the Skyward mobile app, going live this fall!
Slide Out Menu
The new slide out menu gives you immediate access to Favorites, Recent Destinations, the Main Menu, and the Preferences screen from anywhere in the application.
Students can stay better organized and manage their daily schedules in the newly designed calendar tab. With grades just one tap away, they no longer have an excuse to say, “I didn’t know” about their scores.
In addition to academic reports, students can also use the app to view their attendance totals, extracurricular activities, and upcoming events, among other important information.
Along with the simplified attendance and Gradebook features, parents can view food service information on the go using the simple three-tab system: summary, payments, and purchases. They can also stay informed of their child’s school behaviors by viewing disciplinary offenses and actions.
Educator Access +
Teachers can tap the present, tardy, or absent button next to each student’s name to take attendance. This touch-and-go practice will shorten the process, saving valuable time for in-class instruction.
Teachers will also enjoy the intuitive Gradebook. The updated design makes it easy for teachers to enter scores, create assignments, and leave comments anytime, anywhere.
Stop searching for the features you need right now. Employees will have easier access to scheduled tasks, while administrators can approve or deny time-off requests, timesheets, and requisitions with a single tap.
Stay tuned for notification of the exact release date! We’re excited for you to experience these enhancements firsthand, and we’re confident that the new design will make it easier for even your most reluctant stakeholders to use the app.
